Spinetta Rose
This pale orange-pink Tuscan Rosè is a blend of Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile (a Sangiovese clone). Tart and juicy, with citrusy grapefruit and tangerine dominating the nose and mouth, the wine’s aromatic profile is enriched by white peach and strawberry and floral and mineral notes. The Rosè shows great clarity, with a suave, penetrating finish that lingers with a floral tenacity. A great summer wine and an excellent accompaniment to fish and poultry.
Brecca el Nacido
Breca El Nacido is Bodegas Breca's freshest expression of the Garnacha from Calatayud - sourced from younger bush vines planted at extremely high altitudes. The estate also blends in a small percentage of white grapes that are coplanted in the local vineyards.
Avancia Godello
Sourced from one of the oldest, most traditional vineyards planted in Valdeorras, Avancia Godello expresses the authenticity of the history of Valdeorras and the oldest genetic material of Godello in the world. A completely unique white wine that ages beautifully and has been recognized by Robert Parker as Spain's best Godello.
Kila Cava
Vins el Cep (roughly translates to wines from the vineyard) epitomizes the concept of "grower" sparkling wine. Vins el Cep was the pioneering producer of organic and biodynamically farmed sparkling wine in Spain. Today, the winery produces wine exclusively from estate owned vineyards. Vins el Cep is extremely strict with their selection and sells several thousand liters a year in bulk to large, commercial Cava producers when quality is not to their standards. Maite Esteve, the matriarch of the company, is the paradigm of a vigneron. She is a grape grower, winemaker, CFO, label designer, marketer, director of sales, etc. Kila Cava Brut Organic is Vins el Cep's entry level sparkler, and aims to be a fresh, easy drinking, but serious cava that competes with lesser-quality, oftentimes mass-produced inexpensive bulk cavas from cooperatives and large corporate producers. In line with the producer's philosophy, Kila is always estate grown and bottled, sees extended bottle ageing, low dosage (less than 6 g/L RS), and is certified organic and vegan.
La Spinetta Moscato d'Asti Biancospino
The Moscato Biancospino is lively and pure with aromas of ripe yellow apple, tangerine, lemon ice and sweet spices. A gentle, inviting mousse and flavors of fresh citrus, sage and minerals linger on the floral and long back end, making this traditionally dessert wine an ideal choice for an aperitif or a refreshing brunch beverage as well.
Josep 1952 Brut Rose
Behind Josep 1952 is a rich family history of artisan winemaking and organic viticulture. For generations, the Ventosa-Mañé family has passed down the tradition of winemaking with dedication to ecological and innovative processes to produce top quality D.O. Cava. It was in 1952 that the family planted their first vineyard on the estate in Penedès. Today Josep 1952 produces Certified Organic Cava and natural sparkling wines that offer great purity and freshness. Cheerful and bright blush color with lively bubbles. Lush nose of wild fruits and hint of balsamic. Aromas of strawberry with a refreshing palate and soft, persistent finish.
Montegrossi Chianti Classico
The Chianti Classico Rocca di Montegrossi represents the flagship wine of the company and is produced every year. It is primarily composed of Sangiovese (approximately 90%) and also contains a small percentage of Canaiolo (10%). In the glass, this wine presents itself with a lively ruby red color, accentuated by violet reflections. The aromas are predominantly fruity, with hints of wild berries and sour cherries.
Bargemone Bascule
Labeled Bascule Rouge – Bargemone’s first 100% Certified Natural wine is a perfect example of clean, thoughtful growing and winemaking. Since the 13th century, this estate lands on the forefront of Coteaux d’Aix en Provence. Crunchy red fruits, savory thyme & bay leaf with the lightest touch of white spices and fresh violets. Refined tannins and soft finish.
Jeff Carrel Les Darons
Grenache and Carignan have long been cultivated in Southern France and represent the “forefathers” of the Languedoc Appellation’s red wines. Les Darons is an homage showcasing these classic varietals. Named after the forefather grapes, “Les Darons” is the affectionate term for “The Parents” in the Parisian suburbs where winemaker, Jeff Carrel was born. Packed with dark fruit aromas and delicious spices, the wine’s mineral streak maintains a tension and balance to the denser fruit. Silky mature tannins round out the palate.
Vacheron Sancerre
The Vacherons without question are Sancerre’s leading winemaking clan. From the family’s pioneering work in identifying and exploring the region’s top terroirs to their leading position in biodynamic viticulture, there are few if any artisans today in Sancerre as exacting or as respected. The estate’s peerless older vines, planted and cultivated by generations of family members, are cared for fastidiously. The Vacheron family’s vineyards combine equal portions of flint and chalk soils, which give this pure Sauvignon Blanc its nervous edge and juicy core of citrus fruit.
Malvira Roero Arneis
Malvira Roero Arneis is a distinguished white wine from the Roero region in Piedmont, Italy, crafted from the Arneis grape variety. This wine typically showcases a bright, straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. Its aromatic profile is elegant and complex, featuring notes of ripe pear, white peach, and subtle hints of almond and honey. On the palate, Malvira Roero Arneis is known for its refreshing acidity and smooth texture, balanced with a delicate minerality and a touch of citrus zest. The finish is clean and crisp, making it an excellent choice for pairing with seafood, light pasta dishes, or fresh salads. Overall, it embodies a harmonious blend of fruitiness and freshness, offering a taste of the unique terroir of the Roero region.
Antoniolo Rosato
In the glass, it reveals a delicate, pale pink hue with a hint of copper. The nose is inviting and aromatic, with vibrant notes of fresh strawberries, ripe raspberries, and a touch of rose petals. On the palate, Antoniolo Rosato Bricco Lorella is refreshingly crisp and light, with a perfect balance of juicy red fruit flavors and a subtle minerality. Its bright acidity and smooth texture lead to a clean, elegant finish, making it an ideal companion for a range of dishes.
La Battagliolo Lambrusco
The bouquet is a delightful blend of ripe cherries, blackberries, and plums, complemented by subtle hints of violets and a touch of earthy spice. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and effervescent, with a rich, velvety texture and flavors that mirror the nose, underscored by a gentle sweetness balanced by lively acidity. The "Dosage 15" indicates a moderate level of sweetness, adding a nuanced complexity without overwhelming the wine’s natural fruitiness and freshness.
Franck Besson Rose Granit
In the glass, it presents a delicate, pale salmon-pink color with a hint of copper. The nose is fresh and aromatic, offering enticing notes of wild strawberries, red currants, and a whisper of citrus zest. Subtle floral undertones and a touch of minerality add complexity to the bouquet. On the palate, Franck Besson Rosé Granit is crisp and vibrant, with a balanced acidity that enhances its refreshing character. Flavors of ripe berries and a hint of peach are complemented by a gentle creaminess and a distinctive mineral edge, reflecting the unique granite soils of the region. The finish is clean and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of fruit and minerality.
Vigneron de Buxy Chardonnay
Vignerons de Buxy Chardonnay is a delightful expression of Burgundy's famed white wine, showcasing the elegance and finesse for which the region is renowned. In the glass, it reveals a radiant golden hue, hinting at its complexity. The nose is aromatic and inviting, with vibrant notes of ripe apple, pear, and a touch of citrus. The wine exhibits a harmonious crisp acidity with flavors of golden apple, ripe melon, and a nuanced mineral edge. The finish is long and elegant, with a hint of almond and a fresh, clean aftertaste.
La Spinetta Barbera d'Asti
Though the Barbera grape from Asti usually tends to be crisper and sharper (when compared to the Barbera grape from Alba), the Ca’ di Pian exudes a rich concentration and relatively tame acidity, thanks to 45-year-old vines and low vineyard yields. Aromas of blueberry, wet earth and a hint of orange peel come through, and this Barbera’s full body and intensity are balanced by a silky smooth finish, combining richness with finesse.
